Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at State Hwy 4 in Brownsville, TX on December 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:12 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Santa Fe operated by a 72-year-old Brownsville woman was headed northeast on International Blvd as a pedestrian was walking southwest. The pedestrian, identified as Ricky Joe Beede, suffered serious injuries after being struck by the vehicle while crossing outside a crosswalk. There were no injuries to the driver.
