What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed two people at FM 922 in Cooke County, TX on November 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle was traveling westbound on FM 922 as a Dodge Ram traveled southbound on County Rd 215. Upon reaching the intersection, officials allege the Dodge failed to yield right-of-way from a posted stop sign before colliding with the motorcycle. Police say both the driver of the motorcycle, identified as 45-year-old Robert Kemp and a passenger, identified as 43-year-old Heather Kemp, were pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, identified as 61-year-old William Hawk, was uninjured, according to police. Additional details were not available.
