What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a shooting that killed a man outside El Botanero in in Houston, TX on September 23rd, 2019. Officials say the incident happened around 2 a.m. Two men, including 24-year-old Romero Rodriguez Rivera, were inside of a vehicle and were both shot several times. Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was treated for a shoulder injury.
