What Happened

Authorities are searching for a driver in connection with a hit-and-run accident at Jensen and Laura Koppe in Houston, TX on November 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. According to investigators, pickup truck can be seen on surveillance video striking a pedestrian. Sources allege the video shows the pedestrian was dragged by the vehicle for several yards before coming to stop in a parking lot. It is further alleged the driver is seen exiting the vehicle briefly before re-entering the vehicle and driving away. The pedestrian, identified as 71-year-old Rosie Valentin, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Authorities did not disclose additional information.
