What Happened

Houston Police are investigating ac rash that killed one person involved at Collingsworth St in Houston, TX on July 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger headed southbound on Lockwood Dr is said to have been attempting to make a left turn before losing control for unclear reasons. Upon doing so, police say the vehicle hit a pair of curbs before crashing into a utility pole. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and an occupant of the vehicle, alleged to be the driver, suffered fatal injuries. The victim is believed to be 50-year-old Rosio Aguilar. Officials say no other individuals or vehicles were involved in the collision.
