What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-45 in Houston, TX on May 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:44 a.m. According to investigators, a Pontiac G6 was allegedly speeding and traveling erratically prior to losing control and colliding with the rear of a GMC Sierra.  The impact is said to have caused the GMC to overtone multiple times, leaving 41-year-old driver, Ryan Cole, seriously injured. An 8-year-old passenger in the vehicle had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Pontiac, age 17 and not publicly identified, also had possible, unconfirmed injuries.
