What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Belt Line Rd in Grand Prairie, TX on July 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. Investigators are saying a Kia Soul operated by 41-year-old Sandra Martinez Espinoza was traveling southbound on Beltline before traveling into the intersection with I-30 service road. It then collided with a Buick Rendezvous operated by 70-year-old Carolyn Tegeler. Officers allege one of the vehicles may have run a red light at the intersection. Espinoza was seriously injured, according to authorities, while Tegeler was not injured. Additional information was not made available.
