What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 75 in Dallas, TX on December 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:16 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 38-year-old Saturnino Calicio was headed northbound on US 75 when it allegedly veered from its lane into a shoulder. It then collided with the center concrete median before rotating and veering into the path of a Hyundai Sonata operated by 21-year-old Dalecia Jackson. Calicio suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Jackson was evaluated for possible injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
