Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-69 in Rosenberg, TX on June 30th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 67-year-old Richmond man was northbound, partially in a shoulder lane. The truck had two flashing hazard lights and LED blue and amber lights flashing, according to sources. Investigators say visibility in the area may have been poor due to the rising sun as a Ford Escape operated by 27-year-old Savanna Denise Ramirez approached. Officials ay the Ford collided with the rear of the commercial truck, leaving a child passenger with suspected serious injuries. Ramirez had non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
