Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed a driver at US 281 in Lampasas County, TX on December 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11: 15 p.m. Investigators allege a Dodge pickup truck operated by 54-year-old Shawn Thomas Figurski was headed northbound on US 281. At some point, the vehicle veered from the road for unknown reasons and lost control, overturning several times as a result. Figurski suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
