Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Park Rd 31 in Comal County, TX on August 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:52 p.m. According to investigators, a Saturn Vue operated by 36-year-old Stephen Lemeilleur was headed southbound at an alleged high rate of speed before veering across the road into a tree. The vehicle then struck a speed limit sign and second tree before coming to a stop. Lemeilleur was seriously injured in the crash. Officials allege suspicion of alcohol involvement.
