What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 1960 in Dayton, TX on January 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:16 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet C1500, operated by 47-year-old Stephen Oldham, was westbound on FM 1960. Ahead of the vehicle, reports say, was a tractor-trailer in the process of turning left onto FM 1960. Reports say the truck was occupying multiple lanes of travel as turned and as the Chevrolet approached. The Chevrolet collided with the truck, the crash leaving Oldham seriously injured, according to reports. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured.
