What Happened

Odessa Police Department officials released the name of the two people injured in a car accident on I-20 in Odessa, TX on January 3rd, 2019. 58-year-old Steven Marshall was injured when a vehicle driven by 41-year old Guadalupe Marquez reportedly missed a stop sign and drove through a median. A passenger in Marquez's vehicle, 35-year-old Sandra Benavidez was also injured. Marshall was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries. Benavidez was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Marquez was charged with intoxication assault.
