What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating an accident that killed a child and injured two others on FM 51 in Parker County, TX on January 28th, 2019. 6-year-old Sylvia Ponce was killed when the vehicle she was a passenger in was rear-ended by a tow truck that was reportedly speeding. The 43-year-old driver of her vehicle and a 12-year-old girl were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
