What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-30 in Dallas, TX on April 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:14 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 45-year-old Poplar Bluff man was headed westbound, as were the other vehicles involved. Police believe one of the vehicles involved was traveling at a speed much lower than the posted speed limit. The vehicles were attempting to go around the vehicles when one, a Toyota Camry operated by 37-year-old Taki Salva Mando, was struck by the tractor-trailer. Officials say Mando suffered injuries believed to be serious in nature. The Poplar Bluff man was not injured, according to police. Additional information was not available.
