What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a teen on Hwy 199 in Wise County, TX on December 25th, 2018. Officials say the 13-year-old male was a passenger in a pickup truck that rear-ended a semi truck that reportedly failed to yield. He was transferred to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the pickup, 32-year-old Jeffrey Hoopman and driver of the semi, 25-year-old Anthony Godwin, were not injured.
