What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a teen at West Bellfort Ave and Burdine St in Houston, TX on November 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:50 p.m. Police say a Nissan Rogue headed eastbound on West Bellfort collided with a Chevrolet Malibu making a left turn on Burdine. The Nissan is said to have next veered from the road into a group of tees, leaving a 14-year-old passenger, with injuries that were fatal. The 17-year-old driver of the Nissan and four additional passengers were hospitalized with suspected minor injuries. The Chevrolet operator, age 70, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
