What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 84 in McGregor, TX on September 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:36 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu operated by an unidentified driver was westbound before colliding with a Ford Escape. The collision caused the Ford to veer into a bar ditch, where it overturned and struck a fence. Police say the driver of the Malibu fled the scene on-foot and allege suspicion of possible intoxication by the driver. The driver of the Ford, identified as 46-year-old Teri Conder, suffered serious injuries, according to police. Officials say 47-year-old passenger, Nathan Conder, suffered less serious injuries.
