What Happened

Officials with the Texas Department of Transportation have information on a crash that injured Terry Barnett at US 69 in Angelina County, TX on December 16th, 2022. Investigators believe the incident happened round 7:28 p.m. According to their investigation, the crash involved three vehicles. The first was a Ford Econoline van operated by 65-year-old Terry Barnett. The second vehicle was a Ford F-150 operated by a 17-year-old male. The third vehicle was Toyota Tacoma operated by 80-year-old Alex Moulton. Officers believe the Ford van was traveling on a private drive and traveled into the path of the F-150. The two vehicles collided, sending the F-150 across the road into the Toyota. The collision seriously inured Barnett while Moulton had possible injuries. The teen was not injured. Officers recommended and/or issued Failure to Yield and Not Secured by Safety Belt charges at the scene.
