What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 2979 in Harris County, TX on December 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:08 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Econoline van operated by a 26-year-old Spring woman was headed eastbound after exiting a gas station. The vehicle is alleged to have failed to yield to a southbound Toyota Highlander traveling on FM 2978. The vehicles collided, leaving a 32-year-old Tomball man in the Toyota with injuries believed to be serious. Police allege the Spring woman was not injured and recommended a Failure to Yield Row citation.
