What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Stallings Dr in Nacogdoches, TX on May 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:09 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 25-year-old man was headed southbound on Stallings before turning out of private drive and colliding with a Dodge Ram 1500. The Dodge then veered across its lane into the path of a Ford Explorer, both vehicles colliding in the process. Both drivers, identified as 42-year-old Jeremy McConnell and 39-year-old Tonya Simmons, injured. The other driver was reportedly not injured and issued a Failure to Yield Row Leaving Private Drive citation/charge.
