What Happened

Lubbock Police are investigating a pair of crashes that occurred near each other in Lubbock, TX on January 15th, 2019. Police say the first accident involved an overturned vehicle between 19th St and 34th St on Loop 289. The driver of that vehicle was hospitalized with moderate injuries. The second accident involved a patrol car that collided with a Jeep before striking a light pole. The Jeep driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. The patrol officer was not injured.
