What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at I-20 in Harrison County, TX on January 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:13 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed westbound on I-20 is said to have failed to control its speed before colliding with the rear of a Dodge Caravan. The crash is said to have seriously injured two passengers, both 76, as well as the 76 year-old driver. The tractor-trailer operator was uninjured, reports say. Sources indicate a Failure to Control Speed charge was recommended and/or issued.
