What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at I-20 in Mesquite, TX on November 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:48 a.m. According to investigators, a Mazda 6 operated by 32-year-old Dallas man was eastbound on I-20 before veering from its lane for unclear reasons. Police say the vehicle entered into a shoulder before hitting a guardrail and rolling over a median. Officials believe and approaching Nissan struck the guardrail before veering from the road. Reports indicate a 23-year-old passenger in the Mazda had non-life-threatening injuries while the driver was more seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
