What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at Hwy 10 in Fannett, TX on May 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Malibu and GMC Yukon are both alleged to have been traveling at unsafe speeds before they hydroplaned into a south ditch. The driver of the Malibu exited the vehicle and was struck by a semi-truck shortly after. That individual and their passenger were both taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
