What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-35 and Meacham Blvd in Fort Worth, TX on August 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by a 35-year-old Fort Worth woman was headed northbound on North Fwy when it lost control and crashed into a barrier wall. While attempting to correct, the vehicle veered into a left barrier wall, leaving both the driver and a 28-year-old passenger with serious injuries. Police say the driver was alleged to be intoxicated and recommended and/or issued and Intoxication Assault charge.
