What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at Daw Collins Rd in Montgomery County, TX on August 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:43 a.m. According to police, a Mack truck operated by a 30-year-old woman who was not publicly identified was northbound at the time of the incident before leaving the road. Officials say the vehicle lost control while attempting to correct back into the road before crashing into a group of trees. Officials say the woman and a 37-year-old passenger were both killed din the incident. Additional information was not available.
