What Happened

Austin Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-35 near Cesar Chavez St in Austin, TX on September 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. According to investigators, a vehicle believed to be a commercial truck and a small passenger car were involved in a collision that also involved a third vehicle. The small passenger car reportedly ended up underneath the large truck and two occupants suffered fatal injuries. Two others were hospitalized for treatment.
