What Happened

Liberty County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at FM 1409 in Liberty County, TX on January 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened  around 2:30 a.m. A passenger vehicle was found to have crashed and caught fire under unclear circumstances. The driver and a passenger were not able to escape the burning vehicle and died at the scene. Additional information was not available.
