What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at FM 2920 in Waller County, TX on September 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Lexus LS 430 allegedly ran a four way red light that was blinking before colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado. Two child occupants of the Silverado were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was not injured. Two occupants of the Lexus, identified as 20-year-0ld Meghana Kodali and 53-year-old Vanisri Yalamanchili, died at the scene. A third occupant, age 16, also died later after arrival at an area hospital. Additional information was not immediately available.
