What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at  I-10 in Houston, TX on August 17th, 2022. Police believe the incident happened around 2:10 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tercel operated by 32-year-old Victor Lopez was traveling westbound on I-10 prior to veering from its lane into a concrete pillar for unclear reasons. Lopez was hospitalized for treatment of injuries he died from on September 1st. Additional details were not available.
