What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Earl Campbell Parkway in Tyler, TX on June 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:59 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by a 40-year-old Tyler man was westbound on Earl Campbell when it allegedly ran a red light. It collided with a Hyundai Elantra operated by 42-year-old Ashanti Autaren Hallman. Hallman and a passenger, 71-year-old Winnifred Hallman, were both seriously injured, according to police. The Tyler man was not injured and cited for Disregarding a Traffic Control Device.
