What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at I-35E and Inwood Rd in Dallas, TX on March 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 28-year-old male was going southbound prior to moving out of its lane, allegedly to avoid a vehicle ahead that was merging into its lane. As the did so. the truck struck a Toyota Camry in an adjacent lane. The collision caused the Toyota to hit a concrete wall before it was struck by a Mazda 3. The collision left the driver of the Toyota, a 66-year-old Dallas woman, with serious injuries. The other drivers were reportedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
