What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that inured a woman at State Hwy 22 in Corsicana, TX on July 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by a 65-year-old man  was headed eastbound is alleged to have failed to control its speed before colliding with a Toyota Camry. Following the collision, police allege the Dodge left the scene before later being located. The driver was arrested on a possible Driving While Intoxicated charge. A 19-year-old occupant of the Camry suffered serious injuries, according to police. Police recommended and/or issued Driving While Intoxicated and Accident Involving Serious Bodily Injury charges.
