What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at State Hwy 239 in Karnes County, TX on July 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:45 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer operated by a 41-year-old Mount Vernon, MO man was southeast while losing control while navigating a curve in the road. The vehicle is said to have its cargo shift, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its right side. A 30-year-old passenger suffered suggested serious injuries while a 13-year-old passenger is believed to have had minor injuries. The driver was not injured, according to police.
