What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 31 in Gregg County, TX on February 8th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:39 p.m. According to investigators, a Mack truck operated by an unnamed 65-year-old Overton, TX man was headed northeast on Hwy 31. Police say the vehicle approached a yield intersection and attempted to turn left onto I-20. They allege the truck failed to yield and traveled into the path of a southwest bound Buick operated by a 23-year-0ld Longview woman. The woman is believed to have suffered serious injuries in the collision. Additional information was not immediately available.
