What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at South Staples St in Corpus Christi, TX on March 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:21 a.m. According to investigators, a vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle under unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles is alleged to have left the scene following the crash. A man and woman involved, ages 50 and 59, were found at the scene with serious injuries. Both were taken to an area hospital where the woman later died. Police say the driver of the other vehicle was later identified as Audrey Harris, who police say they have arrested and charged with two counts of accident involving injury or death.
