What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Mallard St in Palestine, TX on September 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:52 a.m. Investigators say a motorcycle operated by 31-year-old Zachary Reynolds was allegedly attempting to come to a stop, according what they were told by witnesses, when it lost control. The vehicle flipped and ejected Reynolds, causing him to suffer serious injuries after striking his head on the pavement. Police say witnesses allege Reynolds was seen leaving an area bar and expressed suspicion of alcohol involvement in the crash.
