What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US Hwy 191 in Grand County, UT on September 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:22 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan pickup truck was headed southbound on Hwy 191 when it went into a shoulder in order to make a u-turn. It then collided with a semi-truck authorities say was hauling liquid nitrogen. The driver of the Nissan died at the scene. The semi-truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
