What Happened

Virginia State Police released the name of the driver killed in a semi-truck accident on I-81 in Rockingham County, VA on January 17th, 2019. 59-year-old Hoa Van Dau was killed when his vehicle was rear-ended by a semi-truck. The impact of the crash caused Dau's vehicle to overturn. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, 40-year-old Letroy D Sims, was charged with reckless driving.
