What Happened

Area authorities are searching for a driver in connection with a hit-and-run collision at Iron Bridge Rd in Chesterfield, VA on September 15th, 2022. Officials are saying it occurred just after 6 p.m. According to their investigation, a motorcycle operated by 21-year-old Wade Bibey was involved in a collision with a dump truck that occurred under unclear circumstances. After the collision, the driver of the dump truck, identified as 46-year-old Elvin McCray, is said to have fled the scene on-foot. Bibey died from his injuries at the scene. McCray is wanted for felony hit-and-run, driving while revoked and driving without a commercial license.
