Washington State Police released the name of the man injured in an accident involving a semi-truck on December 21st, 2018 in Kennewick, WA. 49-year-old David M. Westhart was injured when a semi-truck driven by 57-year-old Valery V. Melnikov reportedly ran a red light and collided with Westhart's vehicle. Westhurt suffered multiple injuries in the accident and was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital. Melnikov was arrested on charges of vehicular assault and hit-and-run from an injury accident.
