What Happened

Wyoming Highway Patrol officials released the name of the man killed in the tractor accident on I-25 in Wheatland, WY on January 2nd, 2019. 21-year-old John Steele was killed in the accident. Police say the accident occurred when Steele was hit by a tractor that had collided with the disabled vehicle that Steele had been a passenger in. Steele had previously exited the vehicle and was struck by the tractor as it was reversing to clear the interstate after the collision. No one else involved was injured.
