What Happened

Area authorities have identified a victim in a multi-vehicle crash at -65 in Auburn, AL in July 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Camry is said to have collided with a Dodge Caravan under unclear circumstances. Following the collision, police say the Camry hit a Hyundai Sonata, pushing the vehicle into a cable barrier. The Hyundai then collided with a tractor-trailer that authorities say did not remain at the crash scene. The driver of the Toyota, 72-year-old Donald Stowe, was killed in the crash. Police did not provide information on any other possible injuries.
