State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US Hwy 80 in Montgomery, AL on May 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around midnight. 45-year-old Leslie Wayne Deloach was behind the wheel of a semi-truck that investigators say failed to stop at a posted sign before turning right onto US Hwy 80. It then collided head-on with a tractor-trailer operated by 54-year-old Jay Hardy. Deloach was ejected from the truck in the collision and taken to an area hospital with injuries he died from. Hardy was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
