What Happened

Montgomery Police identified the man killed in a two-vehicle collision at Birmingham Hwy in Montgomery, AL on October 4th, 2021. Officials say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. A 1998 Buick Century operated by 79-year-old William Ferrell is said to have collided with a tractor-trailer under unclear circumstances near the Maxwell Air Force base. Ferrell suffered fatal injuries in the collision while his passenger was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not injured. Police had no further information to share.
