Arizona Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at  I-40 near Winslow, AZ on March 29th, 2022. They say the incident happened before 7:30 a.m. Investigators are saying 39-year-old Adam Michael Tackett was reportedly in or near the roadway prior to being struck be multiple vehicles. The vehicles involved did not remain at the scene after the collision and a tractor-trailer driver stopped to call authorities about Tackett, who suffered fatal injuries from the multiple collisions. Additional information was not immediately available.
