State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Hwy 71 in Texarkana, AR on November 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:37 p.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 51-year-old Gregory Cowling is said to have collided with a northbound Mack truck that was turning into a private driveway. It was not stated which vehicle had right-of-way at the time. A passenger in the Silverado, 50-year-old Angela Cowling, suffered fatal injuries while Gregory Cowling was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
