State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at  I-40 in Palestine, AR on August 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:29 p.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 19-year-old Yovanni Gamarras Zambrano is said to have hydroplaned through a median and into a Toyota Camry operated by 39-year-old Corey Brothers. The impact caused a Dodge Ram to strike the Camry and second Ram to crash as well. Brothers and a passenger under the age of 18 in the Silverado were killed. Zambrano and another passenger, 50-year-old Marcelo Gamarras, were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
