What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash involving two semi-trucks at I-40 in St Francis County, AR on March 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:02 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 42-year-old Paul Theuri Mutahi reportedly veered from the road for unknown reasons before losing control. It then reportedly went over a cable barrier through a median into oncoming traffic. The truck reportedly collided with a second big rig operated by 34-year-old Rivan Najeeb-Saleem Eeso. A passenger in the second truck, 37-year-old Dhahi Mawlood Kareem Abro, suffered fatal injuries. The two drivers both suffered undisclosed injuries.
